The Budget KPI Keeps Your Spend on Target

It calculates the total remaining budget you have, divides it by the number of days left in the month, then compares it to yesterday's spend to see if your spend is on track. If yesterday's spend is within 10% higher or lower than the target spend then it will be highlighted in green to indicate you're within 10% of your target. If you're more than 10% over budget it will turn red, if you are more than 10% below budget it will be yellow.

The CPA KPI Tracks Your Performance

It uses the Target CPA (Cost per Acquisition or Cost per Conversion) for that Client, which you set on the Settings page. SEMPAD then compares your target CPA to that Client's CPA for the month to date. If your CPA is lower than or equal to the target then it highlights in green to indicate everything's on track. If your CPA for the month is 1-10% greater than your target, then it will be yellow. If your average CPA exceeds 110% of your target budget however then it will turn red to let you know some adjustments may be required.
